How we’d work together

Getting started

• Starts by emailing me (maxgimbel@gmail.com) with a bit about yourself and your running life. ATHLETE ROSTER IS FULL, BUT WRITE IF YOU’D LIKE BE ON A WAITLIST.

•  If it feels like a possible fit. We’d set up an initial conversation (zoom, phone or in-person) to see if we’d like to work together.

• Based on your goals, time availability, current fitness, interests, stress levels, etc, we’ll co-design a customized training plan (online in Google sheets).

Training

• After each training day, you’ll make notes and share reflections in your online training log. I’ll respond, typically within 24 hours, with any questions, comments and, if needed, adjustments to your upcoming training.

• We’ll have a longer check-in ~quarterly (ideally while running together, but zoom or phone work too) to celebrate and reflect on your progress and get clearer on the next training block

Extras

• You’ll be invited to join occasional small group fun runs with other RunForward! athletes.

• I’ll share running-related resources roughly monthly (articles, podcast, videos, blog posts, etc)

• If the time comes and if it feels right, I’ll support you to give back as a running coach too!
